About the Business Plan Challenge
From the Classroom
Hosted by the Brennan School of Business, the annual Business Plan Challenge is an event designed to spotlight the entrepreneurial talent of our students.
Students are selected by their professors from the Entrepreneurship 297 course to compete, ensuring that only the most promising and innovative business ideas take the stage.
Participants develop comprehensive business plans that are judged by a panel of experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and/or industry professionals.
To the Boardroom
Finalists present their plans in a timed, live pitch session intended to mimic a professional setting. There, they compete for cash prizes and gain valuable feedback from experts with real-world business experience.
This competition not only provides a platform for recognition and funding, but also prepares students to tackle real-world challenges, connect with mentors, and refine the skills needed to become successful entrepreneurs.
