When is the Business Plan Challenge?

This year's competition will be held on May 6th, 2026 at 3:30pm in DU's Springer Suite.

How does it work?

Selected students from ENTR 297, our Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship course, present their original business plans to a panel of local executives/investors in a pitch competition.

Each team has 10 minutes to present, followed by a 5-minute Q&A.

Who is eligible to compete?

Entry into the annual Business Plan Challenge is selective and begins with a faculty nomination from the Entrepreneurship 297 course.

Are there prizes available?

Yes! Teams will compete for cash prizes, ranging between $500 to $2,000. Funds are to be split among the presenting team members.
